Agreement to these terms

These terms govern your use of the PassQue Patient app. By creating an account or making a booking, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

What PassQue is

PassQue lets you book a doctor's session at a participating dispensary or hospital in Sri Lanka. Channelling sessions in Sri Lanka run first-come, first-served: a confirmed booking issues you a numbered queue token for that session, not a fixed appointment time. The session has a published start time, but your turn depends on the queue, which PassQue shows you live in the app.

Your account

You sign in with your mobile number, verified with a one-time six-digit code - there's no password to manage. You're responsible for keeping access to that mobile number secure, since it's how bookings are confirmed and identified.

You can browse specialties, doctors and hospitals without an account. An account is only required at the point of booking.

Booking credits

• Bookings are paid for with booking credits. 1 credit = Rs.100.
• Credits are bought in packs through PayHere and added to your account balance immediately after payment is confirmed.
• One credit is deducted per confirmed booking.
• Credits do not expire.
• Credits have no cash value outside PassQue and can't be transferred to another account.

Bookings and queue tokens

When you confirm a booking, the dispensary's session issues you a queue token - a numbered place in that session's line. The app shows the token currently being served and how many are ahead of you, based on updates from the dispensary.

Sessions are published by dispensaries and hospitals, not PassQue. A dispensary may adjust a session's pace, start time or availability on the day. PassQue passes through the queue status a dispensary reports and isn't responsible for delays caused by the dispensary or the doctor's own schedule.

Cancelling or rescheduling a confirmed booking isn't currently available from the app. If you can't make an appointment, contact the dispensary directly.

Payments

Credit purchases are processed by PayHere in Sri Lankan rupees. PassQue does not see or store your card details - PayHere handles payment data directly under its own terms and privacy policy at payhere.lk.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Make bookings using details that aren't genuine, or book repeatedly without intending to attend.
• Attempt to interfere with the app, its queue data or other users' bookings.
• Use the app for anything unlawful under Sri Lankan law.

We may suspend or close an account that misuses the service, including repeated no-shows that affect a dispensary's queue.

No medical advice

PassQue is a booking and queue-tracking tool. It doesn't provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and there is no video or remote consultation feature. Care is provided by the doctor and dispensary you book with, not by PassQue.

Disclaimers and liability

The app is provided “as is”. We work to keep search results, session availability and queue status accurate, but this information is published by third-party dispensaries and can change without notice. To the extent permitted by Sri Lankan law, PassQue isn't liable for losses arising from a dispensary's delay, session change, or the medical care you receive.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.
